Abingdon Street
Westminster City Council is consulting on a new cycleway on Abingdon Street and Millbank, plugging a gap that has existed for far too long in Westminster’s cycle network - between Cycleway 3 at Parliament Square and Cycleway 8 at Lambeth Bridge

Northumberland Avenue
Westminster City Council is consulting on making the temporary cycle lanes on Northumberland Avenue permanent, with some ‘light touch’ improvements.

Cycle Hangar Celebration
It was fantastic to see a huge event to celebrate our cycle hangar for adapted/cargo cycles on the 28th of Jan! Will Norman gave a great speech to many, including member of the press, Laura Laker, and cycling celebrities, Sigi and Travis. Councillor Max Sullivan said how happy he was to see Westminster leading the way on this and we also heard from Isabelle Clement, CEO of Wheels for Wellbeing.
A huge thanks to Joyriders for organising the ride, Westminster Wheels for the Dr Bike, CarryMe Bikes for providing the Try a Cargo Cycle and a group of dedicated Westminster volunteers for putting on the whole event!
